Lot Consists of a Very Scarce Copy of a proposal from the "New York City Transit Authority'" - titled: "Preliminary Proposal For Rapid Transit Expansion Borough Of Queens". Spiral Bound, Dated February 1963, proposal has 24 pages of text and a Scarce, Foldout, New York City Subway Map, titled: "Preliminary Proposal For Rapid Transit Expansion, Borough of Queens". Map shows Entire Transit System and the proposed additions to the Queens System. Booklet is approx. 11-1/4" High x 9" Wide. (Subway, Train, Rail, MTA IRT IND LV Elevated) Booklet appears to be complete, paper is off-white and supple. Booklet has some smudges, spotting toning on edges and corners. Cover is firmly attached. Last page of booklet is the foldout map. Map is clean and bright and does not appear to have been previously unfolded. See Pics for Details.
