The Museum of the Order of St John Launches Online Collections! 

The Museum of the Order of St John is proud to announce the launch of its online collections platform, opening up centuries of medieval and modern history and heritage to a global audience for the first time. 

Visitors can now explore highlights from the Museum’s rich collections — from rare manuscripts and ceremonial objects to medical innovations and stories of humanitarian service — all from the comfort of their own homes. 

This digital launch marks a major step in making the Museum’s treasures more accessible for researchers, history enthusiasts and the general public alike.

A large sheet of paper comprising a printed St John Ambulance Brigade form lies flat on a pale coloured surface. The form collects data on individuals' attendance of drills and practices put on by their Division within the Brigade. This form contains handwritten entries for 12 individuals, members of the Westgate-on-Sea Ambulance Division, with dates throughout the year 1944, and a record of a capital P to indicate whether the individual attended and passed their drills and duties on the given date.
