Furman St. B25 buses will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
B43 Reroute along Marcus Garvey Blvd ends Monday, May 19
On Monday, May 19, southbound B43 buses will return to theirt regular route along Flushing and Tompkins Avs. They have been rerouted along Marcus Garvey Blvd from Flushing Av to Fulton St while Tompkins Av is being repaired; B43 buses resumed their regular route at Brooklyn Av.

Reconstruction of roadways may affect Bx9 and Q44 riders in the West Farms Square area. Bus stops may be temporarily relocated while reconstruction is being undertaken by the Department of Transportation.
You may also expect to encounter delays en route due to lane restrictions.
Bx15 Replaces Late Night Bx55 Service, 1 am to 5 am
Effective Sunday, September 8, 1996
Limited-Stop Bx55 service will be replaced by local Bx15 service
between E 149 St and Fordham Plaza from 1 am to 5 am. Bx15 buses
will run every 20 minutes overnight between E 149 St and Fordham
Plaza. Bx55 buses will continue to provide limited-stop service
at all other times.
When the Bx55 is not running, free transfers are available between
the 2, 5 subway and the Bx15 bus.
Route Extended from Isham St to W 207 St
Effective Monday, January 13, 1997
Bx20 will stop at 207 St Subway Entrance. You will no longer have
to walk the long block between Isham St and W. 207 St to make
bus/subway connections.

Richmond Road Improvement Project
Beginning Monday, October 28, 1996 until further notice
Buses resume their normal route on Richmond Road between Arthur
Kill Road and Wilder Av.
Richmond Road will be closed between Wilder and Cranford Avs.
S54 and S74 buses will run along Amboy Road, Clarke Av and Wilder
Av and will use existing bus stops along Wilder Av and Amboy Road.
Beginning March 24, 1997, weekdays only, 7 am to 5 pm until further

Southbound buses run on North Railroad Av from Delaware St to
Seaview Av.

Use MetroCard to transfer free from the X17 or X31 to the subway
or buses in Manhattan. If you use a token or coins to pay your
express bus fare, you will no longer get a free transfer form
the X17 or X31 top the subway or buses in Manhattan. With MetroCard
you can transfer free between any bus and any subway. Transfers
are good for 2 hours from the time you pay your fare.
Request-A-Stop 10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. city-wide
Request-A-Stop service is now available in all of Manhattan, including
between 14 St and 86th St.
For your convenience and safety, Request-A-Stop bus service will
now be available in all five boroughs from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00
a.m., 7 days a week.
To be let off the bus at locations along the route that are not
designated bus stops, simply inform the bus operator that you
would like to get off at a particular corner. As long as the bus
driver considers the requested stop safe, you can be let off the
bus. Otherwise, the bus operator will let you off at the closest
safe corner.
Of course, the bus will continue to make all regularly scheduled
stops.

If you ride the late night shuttle bus, M7 or M102 to the subway
at 135 St, ask the bus operator for a magnetic-strip bus transfer
to enter the station. Save the free transfer on your MetroCard
to transfer to another bus at your destination station. Transfers
are good for 2 hours from the time you pay your fare.

You can use your free MetroCard transfer to change between local
and limited-stop buses going in the same direction. Transfers
are good for 2 hours from the time you pay your fare. This free
transfer is also available to customers who pay with coins or
tokens.
Bus maps are available free at subway token booths, NYCT information
centers, or by writing to NYCT Customer Assistance, 370 Jay Street,
Brooklyn, NY 11201. Most branch libraries throughout the city
also receive copies of their borough bus maps for for public distribution.
Bus maps should be available in "take-one" boxes on
buses in all boroughs on July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29, and may be
stocked on buses on additional days, which will vary among the
depots.
Updated borough maps with the cover date "July 1997"
are being printed for distribution after July 4. There are no
changes to the face of the maps from previous editions - only
transfer and MetroCard information and some service frequency
information.

we have made the file as small as possible, you may still find
that downloading it will try your patience. We suggest that you
