Westminster is a lovely small town full of charm set almost half way between Lake Keowee to the east and the Tugaloo river to the west. Widely known for the Apple Festival that happens every year the week after Labor Day, Westminster has something to offer throughout the year.

Quaint shops line Old Main Street making it the perfect location for an afternoon of strolling and shopping. And the more than 100 homes built in the late 1800s and early 1900s reflect a great architectural heritage. Approximately 90% of these homes are inhabited and carefully maintained, adding to the charm of the town.
Other points of architectural interest include the Westminster Presbyterian Church (the oldest standing church in Westminster), the Ballenger House, the Grubbs House, and the McCormick House.
