Kiss
has officially released the dates for the first leg of its Farewell Tour. Beginning March 11 in Phoenix, the current list of dates will take the original lineup of the band --
Gene Simmons,
Paul Stanley
,
Ace Frehley
, and
Peter Criss -- through the West Coast and across the southern portion of the U.S. through April 30 in Knoxville, Tenn. The band will be supported on all announced dates by
Ted Nugent
and
Skid Row
, save for the opening night of the tour, which will feature only Nugent. Tickets for all of the announced dates officially go on sale on Feb. 19. Last year, Simmons told LAUNCH he wasn't sure when the band would throw in the towel, but when it did happen, the band would be straight about it. "All things end. At that point we'll stand up like men and say, 'This is going to be the farewell tour. Thank you so much.' You want to go out when it's time with dignity and grace and thank everybody that put you here," he said. In conjunction with the Farewell Tour, Kiss is releasing its fourth live album, Alive IV, on March 28, 25 years after the band released its first
Alive. The Alive IV track listing includes: "Psycho Circus," "Shout It Out Loud," "Deuce," "Heaven's On Fire," "Into The Void," "Firehouse," "Do You Love Me," "Let Me Go Rock & Roll," "I Love It Loud," "Lick It Up," "100,000 Years," "Love Gun," "Black Diamond," "Beth," and "Rock And Roll All Nite." The Japanese release will feature three bonus tracks, including "2000 Man," "God Of Thunder," and "Detroit Rock City." -- Barry Jeckell and Darren Davis, New York
