LOST AND FOUND
If you forget an item on the bus, you may call to see if it has been turned in. Items found during the day are typically turned in to the Information Booth at South Street Station. Please call 233-2131, Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to see if it has been turned in to the Information Booth. Items recovered at night by janitorial staff are held at the Administrative Offices. Please call 232-9901, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. to see if it has been recovered. If you find an item someone has accidentally left on the bus, please turn it in to the driver. All recovered items are held for 30 days, and can be identified and claimed within that timeframe at South Street Station, 100 W. South Street, or the Administrative Offices, 901 E. Northside Blvd., South Bend.
Transpo is not responsible for items lost on the bus.
PRESENTATIONS AND FACILITY TOURS
TRANSPO representatives are available to make a presentation to your school, civic group, business or organization. A representative can talk to your group about how to use TRANSPO bus service, or present other interesting information about TRANSPO. To make arrangements with a representative, call us at 232-9901.
TROLLEY RENTAL
Generally, Federal Transit Administration regulations prohibit the South Bend Public Transportation Corporation (Transpo) from providing private charter service in order to maintain our principal focus of providing public transportation and to prevent public entities like Transpo from directly competing with private charter companies. However under certain circumstances, Transpo may be able to obtain a waiver from private charter companies to rent out a trolley, pending availability.
