"The Roman Catholic Diocese of Shrewsbury serves the population of New Cheshire, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin with parts of Derbyshire, Halton, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Warrington."
Through the 115 parishes and 119 Catholic schools the Diocese offers pastoral, spiritual and practical care to the communities within its boundaries.
In his Covenant with the Poor, Bishop Noble commits the Diocese to work in the new Millennium:
"As followers of Jesus Christ and wishing to share in his mission, we have decided to commit ourselves afresh to work with and on behalf of all those who are in need or feel themselves cast out of our human family, both those in our own neighbourhood and country and those abroad."
The Catholic Voice is our Diocesan Newspaper and is available in parishes across the Diocese on the first Sunday of each month
