The Daily World
The Daily World
Serving Grays Harbor and northern Pacific counties since 1889, The Daily World is the only daily newspaper on the coast of Washington state. Based in Aberdeen, the Daily World primarily serves communities that reside in Grays Harbor County. The economic hub of Grays Harbor is comprised of the cities of Aberdeen, Hoquiam, and Cosmopolis.
Approximately half of the county’s population lives in these three contiguous cities.
This region is known for its natural beauty and unique biodiversity—in no other county can you stick your toe in the Pacific Ocean one hour, and the next hour, be in lush rainforest. It is no surprise then that one of the main industries in this region is tourism, a $30 million per year industry, and the beach is the driving force behind this. Boat building is also a growing industry.
The Daily World covers it all and has won more than 60 awards over the past 25 years. With state-of-the-art pagination and scanning, the daily prints Tuesdays and Thursdays (circulation 6,613), Wednesdays (6,650) and Saturdays (6,754).
The Daily World reaches over 13,000 households each week!
