Tuesday: Northwest 30 knots but southerly 25 knots south of Mahia Peninsula. Rising to southwest 35 knots in the north in the evening. Sea becoming very rough for a time in the north. Southwest swell 1 metre developing. Northerly 2 metres offshore. Poor visibility in rain. Possible thunderstorms.

Wednesday: Southerly 25 knots but 35 knots north of Mahia Peninsula. Easing to southerly 25 knots in the north early morning, then easing to variable 10 knots everywhere late morning. Northerly 15 knots developing late afternoon. Very rough sea in the north easing. Southeast swell 1 metre. Northerly 2 metres offshore easing. Fair visibility in showers north of Mahia Peninsula, easing morning.

Thursday: Northwest 15 knots, rising to westerly 25 knots north of East Cape early morning, then becoming southwest 20 knots everywhere in the afternoon. Sea becoming rough in the north for a time.

Friday: Southwest 20 knots, easing to variable 10 knots early. Becoming northerly 15 knots later.

Saturday: Northwest 20 knots.
