Fair visibility in showers north of Mahia Peninsula, easing morning.
Thursday: Northwest 15 knots, rising to westerly 25 knots north of East Cape early morning, then becoming southwest 20 knots everywhere in the afternoon. Sea becoming rough in the north for a time.
