Best known for his role in Hotel Babylon, Ray was first seen on screen playing Young Scrooge in A Muppet Christmas Carol.
Since then he's had various TV parts including Frank Churchill in Emma, Mr Glascock in He Knew He Was Right and an ambassador in Casanova.
He's also appeared in films The English Patient and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.
In Hotel Babylon, Ray plays the pretentious Restaurant & Purchasing Manager James Schofield.
