As one of the world’s leading companies in AI research, Microsoft Research will deepen its collaboration with local industry, academic, and #research partners to co-develop AI solutions in healthcare, logistics, and finance, while advancing frontier research and responsible AI. One of the MSRA Singapore’s first focus areas is healthcare, and it is partnering SingHealth and A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research to advance precision health – leveraging clinical data and expertise to develop AI capabilities for delivering personalised analyses and enhanced diagnostic accuracy to enable better patient outcomes. Microsoft is also supporting Singapore’s efforts to build a world-class AI #talent pool. As technology redefines what’s possible, what defines our progress as humanity?   This question was at the heart of ATxSummit 2025. Leaders across industry, academia and government explored the transformations driven by frontier technologies. Advances in agentic and embodied AI reflect a shift from tools to collaborators, while quantum computing and space technologies open up bold, new possibilities.   This optimism was anchored by a deep pragmatism. Insightful dialogues addressed the serious challenges ahead, focusing on the complex questions of governance, ethics, safety, and public trust. The consensus was a critical need for foresight and stewardship as we pursue responsible innovation.    Ultimately, progress in technology must be matched by progress in collaboration. Tackling the world’s most complex challenges demands we break down old silos between sectors and nations. While we may not have all the answers, we can work together to build a future that is not only technologically advanced but also inclusive, sustainable and human-centred.   Swipe through the carousel for key perspectives from this year’s ATxSummit.    --    #ATxSG 2025, jointly organised by IMDA and Informa, includes two main segments - #ATxSummit and #ATxEnterprise. In-person attendance at ATxSummit is by invitation only.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) deepens its support for #AI adoption in Singapore with two new initiatives – the AWS AI Springboard programme and its new APAC Innovation Hub. The AI Springboard programme, part of Digital Industry Singapore (DISG)’s S$150m Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI), aims to accelerate AI transformation for 300 Singapore-based businesses over the next 12 months. The programme provides each enterprise participant with up to S$350,000 of dedicated cloud credits and training support. Selected companies can receive up to $600,000 of cloud credits and training, tapping on complementary AWS programmes to support companies in their AI development journeys. Participants will gain access to advisory services, hands-on workshops, and training subsidies to fast-track their AI transformation journeys. The new Innovation Hub in APAC is a multi-million dollar facility that serves as a dedicated learning centre for cloud and Gen AI #innovation. The Hub expects to host 1,000+ C-suite leaders from across the region, while providing 200 local tertiary students exclusive access to advanced technology education each year. The Hub goes beyond AWS’ existing US$9b investment commitment in Singapore’s cloud infrastructure by 2028. It’s an example of how Singapore is working with global tech leaders to strengthen its digital economy and build a trusted AI hub in Asia. It's a wrap! A week ago, we launched the 5th year of the #ATxSummit, organized by Asia Tech x Singapore and IMDA. It's been a whirlwind of a ride - truly bringing the "Davos" for Digital to Singapore and Asia. There are too many people to thank, there is so much under the tip of the iceberg that is seen. I'm overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and partnership, both within the IMDA and MDDI family, and outside of it - our co-opted partners, family and friends. Where do I even start? I'll start with our dear President, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who delivered a compelling call to action for the "coalition of the willing", to make change for the collective good - that inspired everyone for the 2 days to come. Josephine Teo, our stalwart Minister and Ambassador-at-Large, for always being the voice for Tech for Good and your support for the ATx platform. Kiat How Tan, for going above and beyond to support us, despite your busy/ crazy schedule, and doing it with grace and presence. For Rahayu Mahzam, I was so inspired by your servant leadership and know we are working with the madrasahs for AI for Youth - it's begun. Chuen Hong Lew. Kiren Kumar, Wee Keong Ang - my god, we've pulled off yet another one. Thanks for the trust and the camaraderie as we navigated all the crazy ups and downs together as a leadership team. And to my precious, unhinged, crazy beautiful team at Asia Tech x Singapore , and Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) you guys - wow. Blood sweat and tears, literally. I don't know how much lower I can bow in the service and gratitude of your greatness, your efficiency, and your spirit, to put Singapore on the map - undisputedly, irrevocably, and perpetually. Thank you. We are greater than the sum of our parts and stand on the shoulders of giants. May it always be so. #ATxSummit #RedifiningTechForABetterFuture

It’s a wrap! Asia Tech x Singapore has grown to be quite the tech focal point in Asia and around the world. The numbers perhaps give a sense. 25,000 participants from 110 countries at our broader ATxEnterprise. And at our cosier ATxSummit, 3,500 thought leaders from over 60 countries 🇸🇬 All gathered in one place, in Singapore. There is significant optimism and a sense that things are moving very quickly. A sense that the conversation has matured, and questions have turned to concretely tapping the opportunities, and deploying tech responsibly. A sense that the world is coming together, whatever the group. Governments, founders, researchers, platforms — in fact across these groups. The buzz along the corridors and the extensive engagements and networking reflects that. To all our speakers, delegates, and partners — thank you for showing up with such generosity and insight. You’ve made it a space for real exchange and momentum. Most importantly, Team IMDA. A big thank you for making this a success. So much of what happens on Stage or in a Roundtable, begins with that deliberateness and care behind the scenes, long before it actually happens. Thinking through the zeitgeist, putting together a thoughtful panel, making the connections between people. When we started 5 years ago (first two during COVID), we had the (audacity?) to consider the potential of having a “Digital Davos”. Cause technology is such an important part of Singapore and the world, and we can do so much to shape that Digital Future. I think everyone who was here, caught a glimpse of that. Thank you for bringing that heart and effort, and for believing in this ambition. We’re just getting started. Here’s to ATxSG and to shaping that digital future. #IMDA #IMDigitalArchitect #ATxSG #ATxSummit #RedefiningTech
