Hoshana Rabbah!
On this day of great rejoicing — the final day of Sukkot— the UMJC community joins the rest of the Jewish world in rejoicing at the return of the living hostages from Gaza and praying for the return of the deceased hostages as well. May the Lord bring healing to the hostages and their families, especially those whose loved ones are not returning alive.
May this vital step initiate further steps to remove the oppressive reign of Hamas, to establish order in Gaza, and to lead the way to peace.
Halleluyah!
How good it is to sing praises to our God.
How pleasant and fitting is praise.
Adonai builds up Jerusalem.
He gathers together the exiles of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted
and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:1-3 TLV
In addition to prayer, you can also support Israel through the UMJC Israel Aid Fund, which has raised nearly $250,000 to distribute directly to Messianic Jewish war relief efforts in Israel.
Every year we have a divinely orchestrated time in which we not only recognize His Presence as our ultimate covering, but we also have the opportunity to sew that beautiful reality into the tapestry of our future generations.
