After many years, the site has received a complete makeover! With a more modern look for modern browsers and the removal of older requirements like Real Player (stop laughing), widescreen.org continues its 20+ year tradition of being your source for easy-to-understand information about aspect ratios, the history of various widescreen processes, the dreaded "black bars" on the top and bottom of your screen, pan-and-scan, and so much more!
Don't forget to listen to the latest podcast! (And, no, I haven't come up with something more marketable than "widescreen.org". That seems to be how people know the site, so I might as well keep it that way.)
