Eventually, WB:ADMIN and WB:BOT (if ever approved) should get merged to here. Or maybe this should be a dab page and all rights get their own page...  — Mike.lifeguard | talk 00:08, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think merging them into a single policy wouldn't be a bad idea, but I wonder if we'd ever be able to agree to it as one policy. I think the name needs to change though, maybe "User tools". "User rights" might be confused with a Terms of Service type policy or what rights users have to use Wikibooks. --darklama 13:33, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
If they're all policies, then does it really matter what page(s) they're on? We don't have to re-negotiate Wikibooks:Administrators if we decide to move it elsewhere, do we? Or if we want to create Wikibooks:Bureaucrats, we wouldn't need to have a discussion about what the policy would say, since that's already been determined (in Wikibooks:Administrators). So, I'd like to see the bot policy improved and approved first, then we can figure out if there's a more logical way to organize the policies concerning user rights. (And perhaps "User rights" isn't the best title)  — Mike.lifeguard | talk 17:34, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
