Tirano's Claw,
Honestly, a pretty decent Neanderthal movie (there are a few). I really loved the dinosaur costumes and puppets. It's super stupid and dumb fun, but that is exactly what needs to be achieved here. If you expect an epic tale from a film about cavemen getting food and fighting dinosaurs, WHY ARE YOU HERE?
Some incredible pachycephalosaurus stuff here.
this'll work for some. I'm not a big fan of the people-in-dino-suits genre as is, and Tyranno's Claw happens to be That mixed with unga bunga caveman schlock, which I'm also not a fan of🦖no dialogue, just grunts + a fart or two.. meh. not for mee.
👍Unique cash-in on JURASSIC PARK features no dialogue (just cavemen grunts & dinosaur screeches). Most of the effects are impressive, some are unintentionally hilarious; all of them put a smile on my face! My favorite was the peeping tom dino that roared like a squeak toy! This is the kind of weird cinema I live for!
The movie Out of Darkness wishes it was
It's like a Roger Corman dinosaur flick, big dumb rubber monsters, totally insane, bunch of cave people fucking around
Absolute cinema
So no real main character (except for maybe towards the end), no real plot, designated Tyranno, and believe it or not, no real dialogue, just grunts and groans through fake ugly teeth. What this essentially is, is a slice-of-life movie, but it's a slice of life for stinky neanderthals where death by dinosaur is a typical occurrence.
I'm starting to dig Shim Hyung-Rae and his childlike affection for dinosaurs and monsters. I can just imagine him getting in bed as an adult man, and having dinosaur sheets and drapes. This movie seems to be his most unrefined effort yet to put big reptiles on the screen, because that's basically the only point of this movie. It's mostly adorable too. Much of the time the dinosaurs just pop up randomly like they're characters in Pee-Wee's Playhouse and squawk about. Occasionally, violence ensues, and those moments play out like a PG-13 Buster Keaton bit.
