INFORMS is pleased to announce the appointment of Oktay Günlük as the next editor-in-chief of INFORMS Journal on Optimization
Prof. Günlük is Gary C. Butler Family Professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Prof. Günlük was a professor of practice in the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University and the manager of the Mathematical Optimization and Algorithms group at IBM Research. He was the 2023-24 Chair of the INFORMS Optimization Society, and has served on the editorial boards of Networks, Mathematical Programming Computation, Operations Research, Mathematics of Operations Research, Optimization and Engineering, and the Mathematical Optimization Society (MOS)/Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Book Series on Optimization.
Prof. Günlük's term will commence January 1, 2025 and extend through December 31, 2027.
