Barrington Community Unit School District 220
serves over 9,000 students in preschool through grade 12 who
reside in Barrington, Lake Barrington, South Barrington, Tower
Lakes and
portions of Barrington Hills, Carpentersville, Deer Park, Fox River
Grove, Port Barrington, Hoffman Estates,
Inverness, and North Barrington through twelve schools.
Located 35 miles northwest of Chicago, The Village
of Barrington serves as the geographic center of the 72 square
mile District. There are large areas of wetlands, forest preserves,
parks, and horse trails in the country-suburban setting.
