Category:Articles with dead external links

- This category is hidden on its member pages—unless the corresponding user preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set.
- These categories can be used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attention en masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.
- These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or sub-categories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).

Wikipedia articles that contain dead external links belong in this category. Use {{Dead link|date=October 2025}}
to add an article to this category. If you omit the date a bot will add it for you. See Wikipedia:Citing sources#Dead links.
Before working on this maintenance category, it is useful to read WP:DEADLINK to see how to repair deadlinks, and WP:DEADREF to understand what policy says to do with them.
In general: Do not delete a citation merely because the URL is not working. For many citations (including print sources), the reference material still exists, and can still easily be found by its title, author, publisher and other metadata. Dead links should be repaired or replaced if possible, using the steps outlined at WP:DEADLINK and WP:DEADREF.
