The Soueast S09 is a mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by Soueast, introduced in 2024. It has been introduced to cater to the needs of both urban family and business users.[1][2]
Design and Specifications
[edit]The Soueast S09 is equipped with a U-shaped grille and front lights. It measures 4858 mm in length, 1925 mm in width, and 1780 mm in height, with a 2850 mm wheelbase. It features a panoramic sunroof and offers color options such as Green, White, and Gray. The front lights are LED-type, and the grille design incorporates 222 independent LED lights. The body is built on a high-strength steel chassis, which includes MacPherson independent front suspension and multi-link rear suspension. The vehicle also features electric power steering for enhanced handling.[3]
Interior
[edit]The S09 includes ventilated and heated seats, with the driver's seat featuring 8-way adjustments and electric lumbar support. The vehicle has a 12.3-inch LCD dashboard and a 15.6-inch central control screen, and supports CarPlay and Android Auto. It can be configured with either 5 or 7 seats, providing flexibility for different user needs. The interior also features an 8-speaker Sony audio system, enhancing the audio experience for passengers.[3]
Powertain
[edit]The S09 is available with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission,2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission, or a plug-in hybrid model. The plug-in hybrid model, S09DM, includes a dual motor setup that delivers a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 7.8 seconds.[3][4][2]
Safety features
[edit]Safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, blind spot monitoring, tire pressure monitoring, door open warning (DOW), and reverse cross traffic alert (RCTA). Additional safety features include a 540˚ digital vision system and automatic high beam assist.[3]
