Adding Gratian, Damasus I, Codex Theodosianus

I had previously attempted to add these items to the sidebar, but my edits were twice reverted. I would argue that they do belong on here given their relevance to the Christianization of the Roman Empire, which greatly influenced Integralism. I know that they all predate the historical establishment of the Roman Catholic Church, yet I believe they are influential in the development of Integralism, and Catholic Church tradition asserts that it is the original church and as such would consider these figures Catholic. Hi and welcome. Thanks for bringing this to the talk page. I think the problem here is a misunderstanding about the purpose of a WP:SIDEBAR navbox template. That page contains some guidance, but these templates are visibly obtrusive, and so are not designed to capture everything that is somewhat related to their subject. Instead, they are meant as a handy guide to a set of tightly related articles that form a deliberate series that can be worked through. We have other ways of creating exhaustive taxonomies of related articles. For that you would look at categories instead.

Now on the SIDEBAR page, there is a particular principle for these navboxes (which, sadly, not everyone is aware of). That is the principle of bi-directionality. See in particular the section WP:BIDIRECTIONAL. There should be no entry in a navbox where the navbox is not on the linked page. That is because, without the navbox, that page is not part of the curated tightly integrated series. And you can't just fix this by adding the navbox to the relevant page. The page must clearly discuss and be closely related to the series of articles to be included. Since these pages do not mention integralism at all, the navboxes don't belong on those pages, and since those pages don't have the navboxes, they cannot be added to the template.

Again, this does not indicate that the article is not in some way adjacent to integralism, but categories are for taxonomies and sidebar navboxes are for closely integrated articles forming a specifically curated series.
