Merger - a bad idea

The merger of the template Hydrography of Sikkim was a bad idea. There is a Hydrography template for each state. Is some one going to merge all of them with the state template? I certainly object and many of the templates will become unwieldly with too much information. With articles adding up, the state templates are getting sub-divided into several smaller templates.
