My name is Ksenia. I am from Russia, but I have lived, worked, studied, and taught in Mexico since 2016. I have an MA in Cultural Studies from RSUH and a licentiate in Contemporary Dance Education from the National Dance School of Nellie and Gloria Campobello. Currently, I work primarily as a dance teacher, Spanish as foreign language teacher, dance performer and performing arts researcher. I collaborate with the Open Knowledge Association. Translating articles from Russian to English has become a way for me to learn and relearn about Russian culture from a geographical and symbolic distance, which living abroad and being a translator implies, that is why I mostly enjoy working on articles about Russian painting, music, literature, and religious topics.
