Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited George V. Eleftheriades, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cypriot. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Katbar moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Katbar. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources, you may have a possible Conflict of Interest and it consists of machine-generated text. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. UtherSRG (talk) 15:19, 3 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message, but I was the one who tagged this article for maintenance. I didn't like it either. Please be more careful with messages like this. Other editors may think that I am publishing such articles. LvivLark (talk) 20:51, 4 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Don't worry! Although you may receive messages like this on your talk page, editors can look through the edit history to see your contributions to the article. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 13:49, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Disappearance of David Guerrero

[edit]

Hi there, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I wanted to let you know that I have declined your G4 speedy deletion nomination of Disappearance of David Guerrero. G4 only appears to articles that are recreations of articles deleted for discussion; it does not apply if articles have been substantially changed since the discussion. One common way to check whether an article may be substantially different than the one deleted via discussion is to check the date of the discussion. In this case, the discussion took place in 2017. Looking at the references provided, multiple sources have been published after 2017. As such, the article is substantially different than the one deleted via discussion and thus, is not eligible for G4 deletion. If you think the subject still fails to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, you may nominate for deletion via discussion at Articles for Deletion. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions, comments, and/or concerns. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 13:48, 29 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the clarification. LvivLark (talk) 17:26, 30 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, when you see recently created articles that are very likely to be created by someone with a WP:COI, you can draftify them instead of sending them to AfD. User:MPGuy2824/MoveToDraft is useful for this purpose. Cheers. -- asilvering (talk) 05:12, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much for the advice! LvivLark (talk) 17:40, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy speedy deletion: Naiwu Osahon

[edit]

Hello there, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia! I wanted to reach out because I noticed your recent A3 speedy deletion nomination of Naiwu Osahon, which occurred 7 minutes after the article was created. Unless egregious issues exist (e.g., copyright violations, attack), articles should not be nominated for speedy deletion while they are actively being edited. In practice, this means articles shouldn't be draftified if they have been meaningfully edited in the past hour.

I understand and sympathize with wanting blank articles out of main space, but we also need to recognize that it can come across as bitey to nominate an article for speedy deletion too quickly -- especially considering that articles in mainspace do not need to be complete, and editors are allowed to develop articles in the mainspace .

I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions. Take care, Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 20:05, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
