Draft page enquiry!
[edit]Hello @SafariScribe!
Thank you again for your earlier review of Mr Bhattacharjee's draft page (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Sanjib_Bhattacharjee) and for noting that the subject may likely meet WP:ANYBIO. I truly appreciate your time and thoughtful input.
Since your initial assessment a few months ago, I’ve gathered and organised a broader set of sources that I believe now clearly demonstrate notability under WP:GNG. Sanjib Bhattacharjee has now been featured in multiple independent, reliable publications with significant coverage of his work as a road safety campaigner and civic advocate. I’d like to share a few key updates that I hope will help reconsider the article.
The strongest evidence of notability comes from independent, editorially controlled sources that have covered Sanjib Bhattacharjee’s work and recognition without direct involvement from him. These include:
- The Pioneer – A national Indian daily that published a full-page article on his British Empire Medal (BEM) and civic impact
- The Assam Tribune – Coverage of his recognition as an Assamese resident making international contributions
- Tripura Bhabishyat – Bengali-language editorial highlighting his public service
- Gati Dainik – Two separate articles, including an editorial on road safety and education reform
- Headlines Kolkata – Bengali-language coverage with analysis and a video feature
- Road Safety GB – UK national safety body profiling his award and contributions
- Intelligent Instructor – UK-based professional journal with multiple articles on his training work and BEM recognition
- NRI (non resident Indian) TODAY – Diaspora publication with a full profile on his cross-border advocacy
- The London Gazette – Official government record of his BEM award
- Press Association (PA) – Inclusion in the New Year Honours list
- Ilford Recorder, The Waltham Forest Guardian etc. – UK media mentions and image coverage related to his award and civic activities
These sources are independent, reliable, and provide significant coverage - not promotional content or interviews.
While The Statesman published a full-length interview with photograph and commentary on his campaigns, I understand that interviews may not count as independent coverage under WP:GNG. I’ve therefore treated it as supporting material, not central to the notability claim.
Sanjib’s campaigns span both the UK and India, with documented impact in driver education reform, eco-safe and defensive driving, instructor training, and community engagement. Coverage across Assam, Tripura, West Bengal, and Delhi - in both English and Bengali - demonstrates international relevance (not only in the UK, but in India too).
I understand that your earlier decision was based on limited sourcing at the time. With these expanded references and clearer documentation, I hope the article now meets the notability threshold and is ready for approval. I’m very open to any further feedback or suggestions you may have. Thank you again. Flyhigh223! (talk) 12:02, 20 September 2025 (UTC)

- Thank you @SafariScribe, for taking the time to check the draft — I truly appreciate your attention and consideration. While many of the recent articles were prompted by the BEM recognition, they go well beyond the award itself. The coverage documents a sustained career in road safety education, ADI mentoring, policy advocacy, and community engagement across both the UK and India. These sources reflect long-term impact and multiple domains of public service, not just a single event. I hope this broader context helps clarify the notability under WP:GNG. Flyhigh223! Hi Safari Scribe, thank you for your feedback. I've revised the draft to write about Parnall Law instead of Bert Parnall. I've also added more independent sources for reference. Thank you and have a great day! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Bert_Parnall

Udi Mokady
[edit]Hi SafariScribe. My name is Jessica and I work for CyberArk/Udi Mokady. I submitted a page on Udi Mokady to Articles for Creation about a year ago and you rejected the submission on the grounds he wasn't notable. However, most of the best citations for notability were books that I did not provide a copy of for review. I uploaded those book citations to Google Drive here and was hoping you could take a look to see if you feel the citations are good enough to meet the criteria qualify for a page. Jessicarl416 (talk) 20:19, 29 September 2025 (UTC)
- You have to provide the copies of the book in the draft. Thank you. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 11:36, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Hello.
With reference to this, you pointed out that any 8 criteria to be met for notability in WP:BIO academic/research. The professor meets 3 criteria threadbare. Given that, I request you to reconsider your previous decision.
thank you and regards. BellaNYork (talk) 11:01, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- The draft doesn't meet WP:NBIO#3 as you claimed above. What National Dictionary has he appeared on? Again, the awards given to him aren't notable or even meets our award criteria. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 11:35, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Draft:Farmbucks
[edit]Dear SafariScribe,
thank you for taking the time to review Draft:Farmbucks. Can you please provide me with a little more info about why you don't find the sources reliable here?
Sources like The Furrow and GoodLife Vancouver are supporting references only. The notability (WP:GNG) argument comes from other sources: The Western Producer, RealAgriculture, Grainews, Alberta Farm Express, Lakeland Today, Red Deer Advocate. Each of these are a reliable, editorially controlled news outlet.
Kind regards. Danda87 (talk) 14:28, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- I have gone ahead and accepted the draft. Meanwhile I did some researches and found some handful reliable sources published about the company but Good Life Vancouver and few others are blogs. Thank you too. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 07:03, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
Hi, you reviewed Draft:Zara Temmink. But it raises for me several questions. You state that the sources are not reliable and not independent and that the person is only named a passing mention. But what is wrong with this source? indebuurt.nl are reliable independent media of writing an article about here. (I didnt use the interview; but the description sentences in between). The same for this source. Sorry for asking; but I don’t know how to improve it if I don’t understand your review. 95.98.65.177 (talk) 19:30, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
Hi! I'm going to leave this be since I obviously trust your AfC judgement and he probably passes N:POLITICIAN, but flagging that creator is UPE and likely sock. May revisit and trim if you have no objection. Star Mississippi 02:31, 4 October 2025 (UTC)

- Oh! Thank you. I have gone ahead and accepted it. Sometimes I'd forget that I marked a draft as under reviewed, hence I do rely on the reminder bot. Some reviewers already help me out by moving them to mainspace. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 08:53, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- Yup, it's easy to forget when waiting for G6 to be done. I normally would not be bothered until quite a few days had passed, but someone had posted a concern on my talk page as it had an incoming link. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 08:58, 4 October 2025 (UTC)

CG5 Draft
[edit]Hi,
I've just noticed that you declined the CG5 draft, and this is now the fifth time. There are three reliable independent sources with significant coverage (Houston Chronicle, MassLive (The Republican), and Music Week) and I have sourced the "Career" section as best as I could, but looks like it still didn't work. It seems like there's still not much sufficient sources yet, and I'm wondering why and how that is, and if you could help in any way.
Thanks,
Jibblesnark86 (talk) 19:19, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you @Jibblesnark86. Well, your draft doesn't meet WP:NMUSICIAN. Here are things we are looking for: sources for his songs especially reviews (and not his song's listings as you did with Apple Music), musical charts, awards of his songs and himself the musician (the awards should meet WP: NAWARDS). For me, I think the musician is not yet notable. Please welcome to Wikipedia, you can choose other aspects to do and not only about the draft. Cheers! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 21:24, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the tips. I'll keep looking then. Jibblesnark86 (talk) 21:44, 4 October 2025 (UTC)

Request to restore Draft:Papa & Barkley for further improvement
[edit]Hi SafariScribe! :)
Thank you for taking the time to review my submission. I understand your concerns about source reliability and independence. Since your review, I’ve compiled additional independent, secondary coverage from multiple reliable outlets that meet WP:RS and WP:GNG criteria:
- Forbes - three reported business features about Papa & Barkley:
- MJBizDaily - independent trade publication with professional editorial oversight:
- Cannabis Business Times - industry journal owned by GIE Media, covering executive leadership and corporate operations:
- GreenState - a Hearst / San Francisco Chronicle publication with independent editorial governance:
- New Cannabis Ventures - financial media site that profiles market expansion and investment trends:
- Mainstream mentions that provide general-interest context:
These provide sustained, multi-year, independent coverage (2018–2024) from reputable publishers and demonstrate that Papa & Barkley satisfies Wikipedia’s general notability guidelines.
Would it be possible to restore the deleted draft so I can revise it with these new citations and clarifications regarding each outlet’s editorial standards?
Thank you for your time and for helping new contributors learn the process. Verónica Sofía Robles (talk) 00:03, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
Promotion of List of works by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
[edit]Hi, this is a while back, but I noticed something about a draft you rejected. Timeline: (1) an editor without any contributions submitted the draft, (2) that same editor copy-pasted to the existing redirect of the page, without any attribution, violating WP:CWW, and (3) the draft was rejected. I don't know if this is an issue that needs further attention, but I feel bad for the editor whose work appears to have been plagiarized by another and then rejected. Fundgy (talk) 11:19, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
- I've attributed editors in an edit summary and someone requested the page histories to be merged. I suppose you can ignore my above message at this point! Fundgy (talk) 13:52, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Fundgy, I am sorry that I didn't reply. I have been busy with some printings since morning. I have checked to see when I declined the draft but couldn't. Please what is expected of me? Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 14:58, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
- You're all good! I didn't expect to you message quickly or anything; things quickly ended up resolving on their own, so you can ignore all this. I mostly just wanted to let you know that you rejected the draft on the basis that the content had already existed in the mainspace, which is totally valid, but there was a attribution issue that wasn't immediately obvious. What I assume happened is that an editor found the draft, submitted it, got impatient, and copied its content to the existing redirect.
- Sorry to bother :) Fundgy (talk) 15:16, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
