The article Sophia Tolstoy's rebuttal of her husband Leo's accusations has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
content of the page as well as sources have been added to the page of Sophia Tolstaya. This page is now duplicative, the topic does not have sufficient notability in itself and the title of the page is misleading (because the response consists of two separate novellas, which need not be referred to as one item)
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
Happy Holidays

Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, people's rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension. Happy Holidays to you and yours. ―Buster7 ☎

[edit] Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Salaaming Order. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in red at the top of the page. Thanks. Nomination for WikiProject Military history coordinators is now open!
[edit]Nominations for the upcoming Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history coordinator election have opened. A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting will commence on 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the current coord team. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:03, 1 September 2025 (UTC)
I wrote the Edgar Speyer article which Antony Lentin includes in the Further Reading section of his book as a secondary source. We exchanged some emails when he was preparing to publish and he was kind enough to send me a signed copy of the book with a dedication indicating that the Wikipedia article "prompted my interest in the subject". I really need to get around to updating the article to include all of his additional information, so that it can be restored to Featured Article status. DavidCane (talk) 01:16, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you @DavidCane: for reaching out. How interesting. I don't have the book, but I might get it now. Let me know if I can help. I found Lentin very interesting. It would be good to know if he thinks the article on himself sounds correct. Whispyhistory (talk) 06:35, 6 September 2025 (UTC)

The article Chris Stokel-Walker has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Nothing to indicate that the subject meets Wikipedia notability criteria. Stokel-Walker has clearly written for some significant publications, but notability needs to be shown through independent sources writing about him in depth.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Deletion discussion about Barbar Bhatti
[edit]Hello Whispyhistory, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Barbar Bhatti, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Barbar Bhatti.
Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|GTrang}}
. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!
