Looking at the page histories of both titles, the contents using the redirect title here at RFD later evolved to its current target. I'm listing this here for a fresh discussion of its either possible deletion or re-targeting/redirection. Intrisit (talk) 21:53, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- Comment Fox Channel should redirect to the same place (it currently doesn't) so I've added it to this nomination. Fox (British and Irish TV channel) isn't currently mentioned at Fox (disambiguation) although it presumably should be. Wherever it targets there should be a hatnote to Foxe Channel. Thryduulf (talk) 00:38, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Set index. There are, I've discovered, lots of channels called Fox and more previously called Fox, including (and this is incomplete): Fox (British and Irish TV channel), Fox (Asian TV channel), Fox (German TV channel), Fox (African TV channel), Fox (Norwegian TV channel), Fox (Italian TV channel) and Fox (Hungarian TV channel). Fox8. Then there are various ones named Fox Life, Fox Sports, Fox Filipino, etc. We don't seem to have a single list of them that I can find. Thryduulf (talk) 00:51, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Setindexify per Thryduulf. All these channels should be assembled in a list, since these terms can refer to any of them. Regards, SONIC678 18:05, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
- Setindexify per Thryduulf. Good find. --Lenticel (talk) 00:22, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- Setindexify "Fox Channel" in most contexts refers to one of the international Fox general-entertainment pay channels. The sheer number of them demands this outcome. And a lot of U.S. channels over the years that Fox started could qualify (from Fox News to Fox Sports 1). Sammi Brie (she/her • t • c) 07:51, 9 November 2024 (UTC)

- Retarget to Sun path, the target of Sunrise and Sunset. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:23, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- Delete, and delete Sunrise and Sunset while you're at it, per WP:XY. Sun path is about the route the sun appears to take across the sky throughout the day, and how this changes during an annual cycle. Its discussion of sunrise and sunset are limited to azimuth orientation, whereas those articles offer a broader scope on those subjects, especially regarding appearance. In other words, although sun path mentions both topics, it does not cover them adequately and is not a parent article in summary style. Search results are more useful than any target. - • Keep. First off, I'm not saying keep just because I created the redirect. I looked it up, and "2024 VP debate" seems to be a common search term/query. RedactedHumanoid (talk) 23:44, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. Agree with the Americentrism point in principle, but this is surely the primary topic for this search term. We cover the US debate in considerably more detail than others, and it exceeds them in terms of popularity and publicisation, meaning it's likely this is the intended target in most instances where this is typed. An argument on the basis of plausibility doesn't make sense, I think we all know what "VP debate" means (what could it be referring to other than "vice presidential debate"?). The only sensible argument in favour of deletion I'm seeing is that there are vice presidential debates elsewhere in the world which one might be looking for, but, in that case, I would encourage you to look at what our search results give for "2024 VP Debate"; I had to get to the third page of results to find a hit which wasn't for the American debate (which is to say, if that's what you're looking for, they aren't helpful). – Michael Aurel (talk) 01:05, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
