I think the "When writing this type of article" section is somewhat misplaced. Advice on how to write about technical topics is a separate matter that should have its own essay — this is just for notability. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 11:38, 21 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Sdkb: Actually originally this essay was meant to address the obscure science topic issue - such are unimportant for laymen yet interesting for some scientists, and almost impossible to be both easy to comprehend for laymen and satisfying for professionals. Yet later it faced deletion and survived, but was transformed into an essay emphasizing one fact: obscurity is not synonymous with notability, yet preserving statements teaching Wikipedians how to deal with such science topics.--RekishiEJ (talk) 05:21, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
