- I am doing something constructive. I am giving accurate information. I am using positive language. 2600:4808:4892:7600:A367:3D03:5E9D:DCAF (talk) 01:44, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
Hi 2600:4808:4892:7600:A367:3D03:5E9D:DCAF! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Robert M. La Follette several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Robert M. La Follette, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. tony 01:43, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- I know. Please let me keep the version that honors him. I just think he's my favorite politician, and deserves a more positive contribution. 2600:4808:4892:7600:A367:3D03:5E9D:DCAF (talk) 01:45, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- So, Tony St. Can you be kind enough to let me edit the way I want it. I would really appreciate it. 2600:4808:4892:7600:A367:3D03:5E9D:DCAF (talk) 01:47, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hello. Consider opening a discussion on the article's talk page to find consensus with other editors. Reverting to your preferred version several times violates our edit warring policy, and it can eventually lead to a loss of editing privileges. Take care --tony 01:50, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- But I think this version is more accurate and honors his legacy. Can you please let my version be. I am asking very nicely. I won't edit war if you listen to my polite request. 2600:4808:4892:7600:A367:3D03:5E9D:DCAF (talk) 01:56, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- If you believe your version is more accurate, please explain your reasoning on the talk page so it can be discussed. Until there’s agreement, your edits will continue to be reverted. 20m00 🗩 02:15, 24 August 2025 (UTC)

. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 02:32, 24 August 2025 (UTC)- No fair. Unblock me. I made a deal. 2600:4808:4892:7600:A367:3D03:5E9D:DCAF (talk) 02:44, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Why did you block me, we made a deal. 2600:4808:4892:7600:A367:3D03:5E9D:DCAF (talk) 02:45, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
I was blocked because everyone said I edit warred. I was making a right change, and really wanted it my why. I made a deal, but people kept reverting it and one blocked me. 2600:4808:4892:7600:A367:3D03:5E9D:DCAF (talk) 02:51, 24 August 2025 (UTC)

Request reason:
I made a deal with Tony St, that if I keep the edit they way I preferred it, then I won't edit war and won't be blocked. But then other users reverted my edits, I explained the deal with him, and this person blocked me and put it back, even though I kept the promise
Decline reason:
"Keep my version and I won't edit war" is not a useful stance on Wikipedia. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 03:34, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
