Partial block request
[edit]Ponyo, if you have a moment, can you keep MTB18 (talk · contribs) away from 2025 Moroccan Gen Z protests? This nonsense with the infobox is out of hand! –Skywatcher68 (talk) 22:15, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
- What even is that?? Some sort of AI slop? P-blocked for a week.-- Ponyobons mots 22:18, 1 October 2025 (UTC)
Gizelle Bryant
[edit]Hi Ponyo, I noticed you salted the pages Gizelle Bryant and Gizelle A Bryant for persistent sockpuppetry. I created a draft article for Bryant at Draft:Gizelle Bryant, as I do believe she is notable enough for an article. Would you be willing to review the draft and recreate the article? Thanks in advance. Mellamelina (talk) 00:09, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
- The draft you've written is very similar to the article that was deleted based on consensus at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gizelle Bryant. In fact, the deleted article has even more content and assertions of notability than your draft, so I'm not so sure it would survive another AfD. That being said, the draft is protected against recreation by s specific sock, so if the draft is reviewed and approved I (or another admin) can lower the protection so it can be moved.-- Ponyobons mots 16:51, 2 October 2025 (UTC)
Page Protection Request (or IP block)
[edit]Hi Ponyo, I found your page from a few days ago when you blocked StudDoctor9000 (talk · contribs) for being a sockpuppet (I was involved in the conversation that originally led to the master being blocked). Apologies if I should take this straight to a notice board, but I was wondering if we could get some page protection at Salt Lake City International Airport? There's an IP editor who, every few days, edits the page with the same edits. The edits are not constructive and I have constantly reverted the edits since the user started doing this, which has been going on for almost 2 years now (here's one I reverted from October 2023: [1]). I eventually brought it to the talk page over a year ago in June 2024 (seen here: [2]) which eventually led to the page being protected for 2 months [3]. This stopped the IP for a bit, but they eventually started up their edits again this past May [4] and have been doing it consistently ever since. I've left constant talk page messages and warnings on several of the IPs, but the user never responds and they have never once used an edit summary. Just wondering what you think would be the best way to have this handled or if we can get the page protected again (for longer this time if possible). Again, I apologize if I should go straight to a notice board, I'm just not sure the best course of action given how long this has been going on. Thanks! - The IP range is a small and consistent one (see these contribs) so a partial block would be a simple solution. I was a bit conflicted on this though as it is, at heart, a content dispute. That being said, while there was no consensus for the naming at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Airports/Archive 20#Washington National Name, there is a very narrow consensus for the Washington–National link at Talk:Salt Lake City International Airport. As the IP has never made an argument at all for their preferred version, I've partial blocked the range from the article.-- Ponyobons mots 15:41, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
I have found an error related to revert tagging
[edit]Hi again @Ponyo, at Dalal (surname), I have reverted this edit: [5] which you can see at [6], but for some reason, the history shows the revert has been undone, even when it was not (maybe because of removing the references header at [7].) Can you fix it please? Thanks, ~Rafael (He, him) • talk • guestbook • projects 22:02, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- I can't change automatic filter log notes.-- Ponyobons mots 22:05, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Ponyo is there someone who can? ~Rafael (He, him) • talk • guestbook • projects 22:11, 3 October 2025 (UTC)
- Your reverted part of your own edit, so the filter tag is correct. There is no reason to remove it - it has no impact on anything.-- Ponyobons mots 22:13, 3 October 2025 (UTC)

Liquid Glass
[edit]Hey. Thought you should be aware that it appears User:AreyanT101 is block evading with this edit. I'm not particularly interested in playing whack-a-mole with however many IPs this person will inevitably use, so I've requested temporary ECP. GSK (talk • edits) 02:20, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
- Noted. I see that ToBeFree has amended the block.-- Ponyobons mots 20:12, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
- Oh, that was independently of any block evasion. I just think they should be required to create an unblock request and thought you might have been afraid of blocking indefinitely in response to someone reverting you. Thanks for the ping! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 23:49, 6 October 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Ponyo! I see you regularly revert this longtime bugger who originally edited as User:Abdulaziz999982 and later resorted to socks. Can you please use your powers and check if these three accounts User:BDN2, User:BD85 and User:Marzst are somehow the same person? Because like in Deidré Laurens, the IP i mentioned edited in which they changed the subject title due to a move which was very recently done by BDN2, resulting in a revert by myself due to being arbitrary and lacked consensus for the new title. Thankyou. zoglophie•talk• 16:26, 4 October 2025 (UTC)
More : Look here, their edits are one after another, changing names without any consensus in the respective talk pages of the subjects. Same in 2024 African Badminton Championships page history. I'm sure there are many more examples which definitely prove both of them are actually the same and longtime vandal Abdul. zoglophie•talk• 02:36, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Zoglophie: could you please start an SPI oulining the suspected accounts and the evidence? A Clerk will review and action follow-up in necessary.-- Ponyobons mots 20:19, 6 October 2025 (UTC)
