Can you please adjust your message template so that it does not contain a closing /small tag on a new line, as shown in this edit? The message above caused a syntax error on every page that it was delivered to. The MassMessage page should have told you that you had a Linter syntax error in your message, and that you should fix it before you send it. Feel free to contact me if you get that error message and do not know how to fix it. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 21:27, 29 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Jonesey95. Hey, sorry about that. I'd be happy to fix the error if I could sort out what to do. Here is the original invitation. But I don't see what should be deleted. Would you please do it? Thanks. --Rosiestep (talk) 21:37, 29 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Like this (it was done for you). I have put in a request to have a kind editor fix all of the messages that have been delivered. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:49, 30 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In the future, please try to ensure that all <big>...</big> and <small>...</small> tags start and end on the same line, with no manual line breaks. These two tags, if I can get technical for a moment, are called "inline" tags, which means they can't be used to wrap multiple lines of text. We have bots and scripts cleaning up old WIR newsletters, which have many instances of <big>...</big> tags wrapping multiple lines. These issues were only brought to light a few years ago, and we are working through a backlog of millions of errors, of which the ones in the WIR newsletters are a tiny drop. I am available to provide help if you need it. – Jonesey95 (talk) 11:22, 30 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That makes sense Jonesey95. Sorry for the inconvenience to you and the editors who are fixing Women in Red's Oct 2025 and previous months' newsletters. I've notified the others who send out MassMessages here, plus added instructions here. --Rosiestep (talk) 14:13, 30 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

October music

My story today is about a woman and her husband who played Bach's Sonatina for us (Rheingau Musik Festival, long ago) on an upright piano, and it made me cry, and I still remember. -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:53, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
