Portuguese mathematician (BLP). I can see no evidence that he meets WP:BASIC, since the sources cited are just a routine bio on his academic institution and two publications by him. Delete. This is a low-citation area, but we still need evidence of significance, and with the low citations and no awards or the like evident, we don't have the evidence we need for WP:PROF#C1, #C2, or any other notability criterion. —David Eppstein (talk) 17:59, 27 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Delete. I'm looking for several highly impactful publications for an NPROF C1 case, and I'm not seeing these. I do see a long tail of moderately well-cited papers, but the record generally looks a bit weaker than other discussions that have ended in deletion. Delete. The one non-primary source he has doesn't seem to be WP:SIGCOV since it's about his department, not about him. I could be missing something, but I don't even see him mentioned on the page. Lovelyfurball (talk) 22:38, 29 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Delete I searched he doesn't seem to have a lot of citations and the only non-research based publication I could find him in was an opinion piece he did for a Portuguese newspaper. Doesn't seem to pass WP:GNG. Agnieszka653 (talk) 19:19, 2 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
