Attention needed at Archduke Gottfried of Austria

This article needs some attention; preferably from some who has better knowledge of Austrian history than me. There are some odd claims made in the article. For one, the Republic of German-Austria was abolished in 1918 during the time when the subject's father, Archduke Peter Ferdinand of Austria, was archduke. The claim that his son became an archduke is dubious because the archduchy was never reestablished. He is really better described as a pretender. I would advocate for a retitle as he was never an officially recognized archduke, and I would remove the succession claims from the info box etc. I don't have time to work on this myself as I have other projects, but hopefully someone from this project can take a look. Content removal re marital status

I was involved in a WP:BRD yesterday at the article for Henry Paker. A user removed (diff) mentions of Paker's marriage to Amy Beth Hayes from the article; no explanation or source was given for the deletion, and it looked to me like a standard unexplained removal, so I reverted it (diff). My revert was then undone (diff) by another user, with the edit summary They've been separated since before this page began. (again, no source or further explanation/evidence). I then went to the talk page and asked that user for evidence to support the claim made in their edit summary; following their reply, I have given a fairly comprehensive explanation of my point of view/gut instinct on the issue.

However, I'm a bit unsure about what the right thing to do here actually is, from a WP:BLP perspective. As I said in my reply to the discussion:

It may not technically be a violation of WP:BLP to remove the mentions of Paker being married, as the sourcing wasn't particularly solid to begin with (no independent sources explicitly state that they were ever married, let alone that they're still together). However, their most recent mentions of their relationship (eg. on social media: this Tweet from 2015) are that they're married, and my gut feeling is that we should not be editing BLPs based on Reddit speculation. If reliable sources say they've split up—or the individuals themselves publicly say it—then that's a different matter.

I think my instinct to return it to the previous version is based on WP:VNT, but I'm not sure whether that even applies here. What do others think about this? What's the next step here—leave the article as-is (permalink) where discussion of marital status has been removed based on Reddit speculation, or reinstate the previous version (permalink) where sourcing re their marriage wasn't great to begin with?
