Meta-Wiki has a small active community. When a normal user requires the assistance of an administrator or bureaucrat for some particular task, it is not always easy to find one. This page helps users find one when they need one; asking specific admins directly via their talk pages is one way to elicit a fast response. It is only for assistance required at Meta-Wiki, help for other wikis needs to be requested at those wikis.

Out of the last 1000 matches (the 1000th was made just 2 months ago), 806 target pages no longer exist or wasn't created and only 36 edits were made, of which 31 have been reverted. Here are the rest:

Massmessage right request for User:Gaurav

Hi there! I'm Gaurav Vaidya, a long time Wikipedia editor and local event organizer. I'm now helping to organize events for the North Carolina Wikipedians. We've recently begun to use MassMessage to inform people about our upcoming events, using a list of previous event attendees and people who have added themselves to various project lists (which I cleaned up using a Python script I wrote). So far I've been bothering User:Pharos to help send out our messages, but I'd like to be granted the massmessage right so that I can send out messages for our group myself. We plan to organize 3-5 events/meetings a year (depending on interest), and would like to send a single message for each event. Every message will include a link to the target list being used to send the message, as well as a SpecialEmail link so they can contact me for help (see the two messages we've sent so far). I don't see a specific list of criteria at Meta:MassMessage senders, but please let me know if there are any informal criteria I'm not aware of. VPN block has resulted in being blocked from requesting support RE the block.

I’m unsure if this is the right place to ask but it is the only place I have permission to edit/post.

I use a VPN due to censorship in my country, this has resulted in being blocked from editing Wikipedia.

I tried to flag this for review - unable due to the block, I cannot edit my own pages. So I cannot flag for review.

I tried to contact my wiki mentor for guidance - unable due to the block, given another ban(?) and advised to message AmandaNP.

I tried to contact AmandaNP - unable due to the block, given another ban(?) advised to message another admin.

rinse and repeat.

I now have 3+ blocks from various admins I have never interacted with, and cannot interact with to appeal due to new blocks whenever I try.

I am signed in. I have an account. I have no history of vandalism - via VPN or my home IP.

To get help with a global block, see Stewards/Wizard. Keep in mind, that in general VPN's are blocked on purpose. You are unlikely to be given a global exemption as you have no contribution history.
